OHM Systems has multi openings in Cincinnati (office is in Woodlawn) for a System Analyst Programmer and Application Implementers/Trainers. These are full time positions. If you are experienced, knowledgeable and hard working, this could be your opportunity. Both positions require some travel. |

Job Summary:
This is a support to existing and new clients of the OHM bedding specific application. Training via web cast process as well as on site training at the client sites. Pre/post go live support. Customer service pre/post support to the application upgrades and installations.
Duties:
- Work with OHM clients
- Support new installations, project work and day to day support
- Work with ongoing updates to new features and modules and the documentation to support the new features.
- Work with development and existing training documentations and procedures.
- Provide ongoing as needed support, testing, documentation, training and more to the OHM client and internal working with other OHM departments in new projects and patches and new feature releases.
- Liaison between clients and OHM’s senior programmers.
Skills:
- Some manufacturing knowledge or hands on experience. Work in the bedding industry a major plus.
- Detail oriented
- Analytical abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with various levels of end users and technical personnel
- Understanding of user needs and how to meet objectives for the user
- Minimum of 45 wpm keyboarding skills
Experience:
- Minimum of one year customer service experience preferably in a service oriented industry and if in any software or communications industry a major plus.
- Project management experiences a plus.
- Background in manufacturing and/or accounting is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years experience with UNIX, NT, and Windows operating environment.
- Integration and conversion experience a plus
- Any web training application and navigation understanding of a totally web environment.
Travel:
All positions at OHM require some travel. The amount of travel and frequency depends upon duties and level skills of the individual. Ranges of travel are 15% - 50% per year. That percentage includes local day trips as well as overnight or multiple overnights.

| System Analyst Programmer |
Job Summary:
This is a technical position for support and development of existing applications in addition to client base support that also have other vertical applications. OHM has its own WADE (Web-centric Application Development Environment) product, which is marketed to end users and developers and is also used to develop OHM’s Web-centric ERP/MRP applications.
Duties:
- Work with OHM’s internal development using WADE.
- Work with OHM’s client base for WADE project work.
- Work with end user packages and other developer applications in the transition of products to a totally Web-centric environment using WADE.
- Work with e-commerce and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) for web page connectivity.
- First line support to all WADE developers.
- Liaison between clients and OHM’s R&D Center.
Skills:
- Multi Value database experience – U2 (UniVerse) preferred
- Detail oriented
- Analytical abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with various levels of end users and technical personnel
- Understanding of design concepts
- Minimum of 45 wpm keyboarding skills
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a “PICK” like environment preferably IBM U2 (UniVerse)
- Minimum of 2 years experience developing and/or writing programs. Developing reports, screens, and forms.
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in application development.
- Background in manufacturing and/or accounting is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years experience with UNIX, NT, and Windows operating environment.
- Integration and conversion experience a plus
- Any web programming experience
